Kalkadoon Art

Kalkadunga (Kalkadoon) art which is based on Dreamtime Stories are passed down from generation to generation through blood lineage only and governed by the two main groups Roongkari to the North and Mantaba to the South.

Kalkadoon Artist Collen Sam depicts the oral history of her family, passed down in secret for generations through her artworks. Some of Colleen's works and furniture can be seen below.
